Monday's Music Moves Me

HI EVERYBODY AND WELCOME TO THE 42ND WEEK OF

"MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME"

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, and welcome to MONDAY'S MUSIC MOVES ME TOMOSER STYLE! Our Head Conductor of this LOVE TRAIN is XmasDolly! Co-Conductors are Lorie of The Shewbridges of Celebration, Florida,, LARRY from Cakeblast, and CALLIE from JAmericanSpice. Just a bunch of swingin' people that Mooooooves Me!

SO ALL ABOARD EVERYBODY! DON'T PUSH! DON'T SHOVE! There's plenty room for everybody! They're eager to greet us at the station. So get on board. Okay, signing in to their linky first; leaving a comment on my way out because I already have their cool button then taking the train to the next stop to see/hear the next sounds of coolness, AND this week I decided to display their linky too (if I can figure it out ha-ha). I'm sure it'll be easy to keep track on who I'm visiting. So, before you leave to go to your next stop, and this week's theme is about one of our hostesses "XmasDolly"!  It's her birthday and a big Happy Birthday to her, and what song do I think she would like to hear.

Here's one just for my friend Dolly and Happy Birthday!

Please don't forget to checkout my Give-Away "By Special Request" (my CD of special love songs), and you'll also see that I'm offering a DVD, "IT'S IN THE BAG" By none other than myself. I produced this DVD a while back, and I'm sure it'll come in handy if you own a dog and like to hunt.  In a Post previous to this one I have explained a little bit about that DVD to introduce it to you.  Have a great day and thank you for stopping by.

INFO ON A DVD "COMMAND RETRIEVING FOR YOUR DOG - GIVE AWAY

Just a little info on the DVD being reviewed, and added to the Give-Away displayed in my side-bar to the right! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Thank you for your time.

Tom Tomoser is a professional dog trainer, author of “The Simple Truth About Dog Training,” The 2 hour DVD “It’s In The Bag,” which teaches how to train a dog to be a never fail retriever, and “Train Along With Tom,” A 30 minute DVD that teaches basic obedience and the AKC Novice Obedience Routine. Tom has placed 3 dogs in first place in Novice Obedience, and has placed 4 dogs in 1^st and 2nd place in North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association field tests.

In November 2008, Tomoser and his dog Quincey were featured in an Omaha World Herald article by David Hendee, in which Tomoser was credited with bringing to the attention of Kit Hams, Big Game Mgr. of Nebraska Game & Parks, the fact that most Nebraska deer hunters thought it was illegal to use dogs to track and find wounded deer. The article also gave an account of one of 2 deer recoveries made that year, by Quincey, Tomoser’s 11 year old English Pointer/Beagle cross. One deer had been down 5 days the other deer had been down 15 days both were found in an hour by Quincey. Tomoser is also credited by the UKC with the establishment of the English Wire-haired Pointer breed.

A SKETCH OF ME TO SHARE!

I was at a gig and someone in the audience thought they'd like to sketch me, and here's what they came up with.  So what do you think?  Does it look like me?

Have a blessed Sunday!

LITTLE INFO ABOUT MY CD "BY SPECIAL REQUEST"

"By Special Request." This a CD of 14 songs aimed at people who are still in love with the classics pop hits of the 40s 50s & 60s. This "Rat Pack" style music with 4 classic hits; You Don't Know Me, Since I Fell For You, My Way, and a special Arrangement of America The Beautiful. The other 10 songs are my originals which can best be classified as Gershwin? Porter style big ballads and a little bit of Rockabilly for a twist.

Three cuts feature The String Section from the Omaha Symphony, and I had the honor of having Jimmy Butler owner of 4 Platinum albums for his work as lead guitar with Johnny and The Hurricanes, produce one cut and play a guitar solo that is unbelievably fantastic.

The reviews are just starting to come in and I am attaching one here.

Jane’s Review Of By Special Request

1. America the Beautiful: Nice arrangement. I would suggest one less verse to keep the time under 4 minutes.

2. Gloria Jean: Upbeat and fun love song. J

3. Since I Fell for You: Love.  The jazzy piano, it fits your style. J

4. Trust Me: Reminds me of a piano bar. Interesting key change near the beginning

5. My Way: Least favorite, may be because I always hear Sinatra in my head.

6. Gabrielle: My second favorite! The flute and harp make this a very easy going and relaxing love song. Everything compliments! J

7. Southern Style: You are NOT meant to sing country music Tom!!!!

8. Girl of My Dream: great guitar/vocal combination. I like the lyric and the idea behind how this girl would change your life. J

9. I Need Your Love Always:  Guitar is a little harsh for the meaning of
the song.

10. Before You Go: Great story with this song. Background vocals are a
Fun addition also. Fun! J

11. Lonely One: I like the steel guitar and the meaning of the lyrics for Karen Carpenter.

12. Touch of Love: Kind of sappy for me. A touch over dramatic. It may be the way the strings are arranged.

13. You Don’t Know Me: Super arrangement! You really sing this one like it means something to you. My absolute favorite on this album.

14. She’s Gone: Nice sax in this arrangement. J

Jane is a top notch singer who sings the National Anthem for the Omaha Lancers Hockey Team. Jane is also a model and was in the 1984 Miss Nebraska Competition.

By Special Request is available at My website www.loneeaglerecords.com and at www.CDBaby.com. At CD Baby you will be able to buy single song downloads. It takes a couple of days more to get that set up but you can Prevue all 14 songs and read other reviews at CD Baby .com

Because I own my own Independent Record Label I can produce and sell for wholesale. So my price for one CD is exactly the same as it would be for 1000 CDs, Just $5.00 plus $3.50 S&H. Over at CD Baby single song downloads are $.99. There is also a price for a full album download, which is more economical than buying single songs.

I haven't been up on Start up in a while because I started a 60 Minute Talk radio Program Based on My Book Intelligent Car Ownership The 400,000 Mile Formula. We are in the 22 week of a 26 week contract. I also apply my wholesale mentality to selling my book. I sell it as an E-Book for Just $5.00. I believe nobody should have to pay retail if they can avoid it. You can also listen to My Radio show on my web site, and purchase the e-book as well.
