  1. I thought my parents named me after my Aunt Annie. However, a year or two ago talking about that with my older sister, she informed me that she named me. I was the youngest of 8 children and she was the oldest, so she asked my parents if she could name me, they said sure, so that is how I came by my name.

An interesting point the day of my birth, it was home births way back then...My mother had kept my oldest sister home from school, after I was born, the doctor came out of the bedroom, handed me to my sister and said to her "Here is your new sister go clean her up." My how times have changed... ; ))

  2. I'm not sure why anyone would name their child "Harriet". You have no idea what it was like during the "Ajax turned blue" era :()

    Have a great weekend!

  4. I was supposed to be named Patricia or Susan, but Dad wasn't around (working) when it was time to name me & my mom & grandmother was & I got stuck with what I have now Marie Ellen is my first name (not sure where that came from, but I do know that my middle name was after my gram, which is Adeline. So dad got hopped up & nicked named me Dolly because when he was looking for me in the nursery I was over by the toys & he thought I was one of the dolls. Have a great weekend. Oh & named my first daughter both the names I should've been.

  5. I believe my mom named me (Rebecca) after a tv show character. My middle name (Ann) is at least after her uncle.

  9. Well just look at that handsome man! You're quite the looker there Tom :)

I was named Kayla because my dad liked that name off the soap opera he watched (true story) and I was named Jeanne, my middle name, after my grandma Regina.

    Happy Friday!
