My question is:   Do you like CD's or do you miss cassettes?

Do to having an older car I have a cassette deck I like cassettes for that reason, but I think CD's has better quality for sound.  Personally, I like 8 tracks too.  Now they had some good sound also, but too big & bulky!  Have a great weekend.

Perfecto
HERE'S MINE!  ENJOY!

Hungarian/American Chicken Soup
Pre-cooking for my lunches at work..

Dinner at home after work!

1 or 2 Chickens cut in 8 pieces ea.
I bunch of carrots or 2 cans of baby carrots
I bunch Celery or 2 cans of mixed Vegetables.
2 onions 1/4ered

Seasonings:

Garlic
salt
pepper
paprika
Poultry seasoning

Season Chicken with all 5 seasonings and place in large 4 or 5 quart pot add vegetables. If using fresh carrots and celery do not cut in pieces. Clean and cut to as close to full length as possible. Lay on top of chicken and season lightly with the 5 seasonings. Lay onions on top of other veggies. If using canned veggies add the liquid from can to pot.

Optional; Add about 4 ozs. of Lambrusco wine.  Fill pot with water to about 1 inch from the brim.

Cover and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to a simmer after 5 minutes of boiling.

Simmer till veggies are super soft and chicken falls off the bone.

Presentation:

The traditional Hungarian presentation is to place a piece of chicken whole in the center of the soup bowl and then lay a whole carrot and a whole celery next to the chicken then some onions over the whole works and pour the broth over the parts.

The Americanization of the soup is still to place a piece of chicken whole in the bowl and pour broth and veggies over it and serve.

**To my friends out there that I mentioned that I was having a give-away on Tuesday.  I didn't get a chance to finish it, but I promise it will get done by Monday!  Hope you all come back to check it out.  COMING SOON -  STAY TUNED!

Me & My hunting Dog
“The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword”
Hello Everyone!
Not that long ago I wrote a letter to our newspaper that I would like to share with you.  I truly hope you find it interesting.

To:         Public Pulse
               Omaha World Herald

From:    Tom Tomoser Sr.

Date:     September 5, 2011

Dear Pulse:
“The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword”

This Labor Day I had the pleasure of watching the movie “Veronica Guerin” a true story of one woman who had the courage to use her voice to topple the huge Dublin drug syndicate. “Ronnie” as they called her a married mother of a 6 year old little boy was a reporter for a Dublin newspaper.  By her undeniable courage, and her fearless efforts she brought to light how the drug trade was able to; import tons of heroin, distribute it with the use of child addicts, and operate with impunity because of Irish tax laws.

She was shot in the leg, beaten by a drug kingpin, and finally murdered in broad daylight. Her death united and galvanized the people of Dublin to act. Within 30 days of her death Parliament amended the Constitution of Ireland and formed the Criminal Activity Bureau, with the power to seize asserts, and prosecute drug dealers. Less than 1 year after her death, the men who ordered her murder, had their assets seized,  were tried, convicted and sent to prison for life. This crippled the syndicate, and almost eliminated the drug trade in Dublin.

200,000,000 million American voters need to make their voices heard by writing their Congressional Representatives, telling them, not asking them, to put America FIRST and Party LAST, or they'll be gone in November, Congress would certainly need to heed the voice of the people.
