The article also gave an account of one of 2 deer recoveries made that year, by Quincey, Tomoser’s 11 year old English Pointer/Beagle cross. One deer had been down 5 days the other deer had been down 15 days both were found in an hour by Quincey. Tomoser is also credited by the UKC with the establishment of the English Wire-haired Pointer breed.
